This is a question I get a lot. The easy answer is, they are related. But for those who are interested in the details, there are distinct differences that can help one to better understand and identify them in collections and for other uses.
Much has been written about Arkansas quartz crystal, but there are many other important minerals to be found here in Arkansas. Gypsum is one of those “not to be overlooked” minerals that has equally important collector, commercial, and metaphysical value. While the world's largest gypsum dune field is found in White Sands, New Mexico, there are several deposits right here in Arkansas.
Part 1 of this blog focused on the existence and source of EMF (Electromagnetic Forces). Part 2 addresses some ways to protect from harmful EMF.
To be practical, we need to recognize that everything in the universe generates EMF, including our own minds and bodies. So, eliminating all EMF is simply not possible nor desirable. It is possible however, to reduce the amount of potentially damaging EMF we are exposed to. Four basic approaches are: avoid, deflect, absorb, and counter.
EMWhat??? Really, is there one more thing I should be concerned about? Well, better to be informed than oblivious, I always say. Healthy concern and interest is a good thing. Opening the heart and mind to knowledge can bring help and protection and lead to resolve. That same knowledge can dispel worry and fear that comes from not knowing or understanding the facts
Sometimes, when visitors come into our shop, they look for rocks that "speak" to them, holding them one at a time in their hand, waiting for a reaction. Sound a bit weird? It's not really. Wow! July 5th will be here before you know it. This was the first day, a year ago, that we opened Real Earth Creations for business. So much has happened over the past year that it seems like five years bundled into one.
Earth Day, April 22, has come and gone and the earth is still here. So why does there need to be a special day? Moreover, why should it be important to me? I reflected on those very questions and came to a few conclusions. You may have some of your own thoughts and are welcome to share them too.

Rocks and minerals are at the core of what we do here at Real Earth Creations. We collect them, cut them, polish them, make jewelry with them, and wear them. They connect us to the earth and the universe and they connect us to you when you walk through the door of our shop.
